Lindsey sees life in the details. Whether decorating her first home, landscaping her yard, or entertaining friends, her attention to detail shines through. Her love for beautifully designed spaces began at an early age. Growing up in Denver, Colorado surrounded by a mother who was constantly re-decorating and a grandmother with great taste and a fabulous selection of shelter magazines, her love for interior design grew. From her first Barbie dream house with custom wallpaper to her first apartments in New York City and San Francisco, there isn’t a space around her that she hasn’t made more beautiful.
After graduating Cum Laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising Management, she moved out west to San Francisco where she worked as a buyer for several large home furnishings retailers including Cost Plus World Market, Restoration Hardware, and Williams-Sonoma. In 2013, she founded her design firm in the Napa Valley where she lives with her husband, their two young sons, and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Chloe. In her spare time, she can be found wine tasting, gardening, or hopping on the next flight to Colorado.
Lindsey’s style is a mix of both contemporary and classic, and she believes in using a combination of modern and traditional furnishings to make a space feel collected over time. Her first true love is textiles and she has been known to design an entire room around a single fabric selection. She also enjoys playing with both color and scale to give a space the right amount of verve. Her goal is to constantly exceed client’s expectations, and as such she has become a great listener and problem solver. Her end goal is to make every space a true reflection of the homeowner.
I’m going to make everything around me more beautiful-that will be my life.” -Elsie de Wolfe
