Last weekend was the annual Holiday Home Tour hosted by the Jr. League of Napa-Sonoma. This year’s tour featured five houses in the adorable town of Healdsburg. It was a great tour, but I have to admit that my favorite house was 227 North Street, also known locally as the Marshall House. I’ve blogged about 227 North Street before when I had the opportunity to tour the home a few years ago. It was fun to see all the progress the homeowners have made since then. The home was purchased by Mark Goff and Phillip Engel in 2009, and since that time they have been slaving away on the massive renovations in their spare time. The couple not only has great taste, but their attention to detail is meticulous. Something I can definitely appreciate!
The Dining Room was my favorite room in the house. The wall treatment is insanely gorgeous! And the table was perfectly set for a holiday party. The candelabras (seen below) are stunning and set the tone for a delicious meal!
This tree has me re-thinking my Christmas decorations for next year. Colored lights might be happening! I love this tree and how “collected” it looks.
I love the way they perfectly mix old and new in the bathrooms and kitchen. It’s nice to have modern luxuries (hello, Sub Zero refrigerator), while also staying true to the original features of the house.
Even the laundry room has style for days! Love it!
